Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Solution Architect-Digital Power to drive the technical design and specification of power monitoring and control solutions across the New England and Upstate NY region. This role partners with engineers, sales and customers to deliver IoT-enabled, software-driven platforms, with a focus on electrical distribution systems.

The position requires the ability to travel up to 50% to client sites and a passion for solving complex challenges with innovative technology.

Qualifications

• Experience with End Customer solution selling and/or delivery of complex projects in the electrical industry.
• Developed interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers of varying technical abilities.
• Ability to self-manage, multi-task, and learn new skills quickly.
• Travel up to 50% to various customer sites and manage travel based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions comprised of IoT hardware, software, and services used to monitor and control a customer’s electrical distribution network.
• Consult with customers, specifiers, and contractors to bring cutting-edge solutions to market.
• Work with a team of business development specialists, quotations specialists, engineers, project managers, and other cross-functional professionals to deliver outside the box solutions.
• Become a trusted advisor with clients in several market segments to influence and guide the design of their electrical distribution system.
• Proposal and design documentation development including system overview, scope of work, bill of material, and project pricing.
• Have freedom and flexibility to drive sales and create solutions necessary for your market to succeed.
