Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks an IT/OT Convergence Expert to drive the integration of power distribution and communication networks in next‑generation buildings. You will lead architectures, create reference designs, and collaborate with Strategy, R&D, Marketing, and external partners.

The role focuses on PoE, FMPS, SPE, edge computing, IoT connectivity, and digital infrastructure solutions. 20% travel may be required for global initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience across enterprise networking, building communication networks, smart buildings, OT networks, PoE and edge computing.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives for converging power distribution and communication networks in commercial and industrial buildings.
• Develop next‑generation building architectures integrating electrical distribution, networks, IoT, and DERs.
• Establish leadership in PoE, FMPS, SPE, smart building networks, and edge-enabled applications.
• Create technical content: reference architectures, guides, white papers, webinars, conference talks.
• Engage with customers and partners to translate market needs into concrete solutions.
• Collaborate with internal units to identify opportunities for integrating comms tech with Schneider Electric’s portfolio.
• Monitor standards and trends in digital buildings and IT/OT convergence.
• Support capability development by improving IT/OT understanding across teams.
