Job summary

Stripe Identity’s mobile team is seeking an iOS engineer to design, build, and maintain SDKs across iOS, Android, and React Native. You will create intuitive, secure identity flows including document and selfie capture, and work with product and backend teams to deliver end-to-end features.

You’ll focus on high-quality mobile experiences, reusable APIs, and robust release processes, while collaborating with cross-functional partners to scale Stripe Identity globally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience developing for iOS using Swift or Objective-C.
• Experience building and shipping mobile applications or SDKs.
• Strong API design skills and collaboration across teams.
• Experience delivering mobile functionality beyond a single UI layer.
• Experience testing, debugging, and monitoring mobile software in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Stripe Identity’s mobile SDKs for iOS, Android, and React Native.
• Create polished experiences for identity-document and selfie capture with accessibility in mind.
• Develop reusable APIs and components to ease integration by developers.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features across mobile clients and services.
• Improve performance, reliability, and release processes for SDKs.
• Ensure security and privacy by design across mobile experiences.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and ML teams to shape identity features.
