Job summary

Stripe Identity is seeking an iOS engineer to design, build, and maintain mobile SDKs and verification experiences across iOS, Android, and React Native. You will shape identity flows, including document and selfie capture, while ensuring accessibility, security, and high-quality user experiences.

The role collaborates with product managers, designers, machine-learning engineers, backend engineers, and field teams to deliver end-to-end features and maintain SDKs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years professional software development experience building and shipping mobile apps or SDKs.
• Experience on iOS using Swift or Objective-C.
• Strong design fundamentals and maintainable APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Stripe Identity mobile SDKs across iOS, Android, and React Native.
• Create polished experiences for identity-document and selfie capture.
• Build reliable SDK APIs and reusable components for developers.
• Work across mobile clients, supporting APIs and services end to end.
• Improve SDK performance, reliability, and release processes.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, ML engineers, back-end engineers, and other mobile teams.
