Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking an Investor Suspense Team Lead to oversee the Post Closing Team and manage day-to-day production. You will address loan conditions during purchase review, escalate issues, and ensure timely resolution with investors and internal partners.

You will monitor reports, balance workloads, provide coaching, onboard new hires, and drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across the team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a Post Closing role.
• 2+ years as a Team Lead or Senior Post Closing role.
• Experience with Encompass preferred.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory rules and investor guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day tasks of the Post Closing Team.
• Serve as first level escalation point for the Post Closing Team.
• Review and balance loan assignments and workload.
• Provide coaching in one-on-one meetings.
• Assist with onboarding and training new hires.
• Monitor performance metrics and report on accuracy and compliance.
• Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and compliance.
• Pull daily investor reports to identify suspended loans.
• Ensure timely status updates with investors and internal departments.
• Maintain adherence to investor guidelines and avoid suspense fees.
