Job summary

Alumni Ventures, a leading venture capital platform, seeks an Associate Community Manager to support our investor community while gaining hands-on exposure to venture capital, investor relations, and fund operations.

You will work at the intersection of customer success, relationship management, and financial services, partnering with Managing Partners and cross-functional teams to drive fundraising, engagement, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer success, client services, relationship management, account management, hospitality, recruiting, operations, financial services, consulting, or another customer-facing environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through consistently.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and provide thoughtful support to customers, or other stakeholders.
• Ability to learn and effectively use new systems, tools, and business processes.
• Interest in learning about investing, venture capital, financial markets, startups, or related business topics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for prospective and existing investors.
• Respond to investor questions through email, phone, webinars, events, and other communication channels.
• Provide timely, accurate, and thoughtful support using approved resources and internal playbooks.
• Help individuals navigate Alumni Ventures' offerings, processes, and community experience.
