Job summary

Pleasurecraft Engine Group is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Associate to support production by receiving, stocking, and organizing materials. You will verify shipments, perform cycle counts, label locations, and pull items for production while maintaining 5S standards.

The role requires accuracy, teamwork with Purchasing, Production, Receiving, and other departments, and safe operation of material handling equipment.

Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management software.
  • Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Willingness to receive feedback and continuously improve processes.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and inventory.
  • Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through routine cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Organize inventory locations and ensure all bins, racks, and shelves are properly labeled.
  • Pull and stage materials for production as requested.
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate material handling equipment.
  • Transport materials throughout the facility to support production needs.
  • Maintain inventory transactions and records using the company's inventory management system.
  • Investigate and report inventory discrepancies while helping identify root causes.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and storage areas following 5S standards.
  • Work closely with Purchasing, Production, Receiving, and Materials teams to ensure inventory availability.
  • Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Materials Supervisor.

Requirements
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, inventory control, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts preferred or ability to become certified.
  • Experience using inventory management or ERP systems preferred.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Experience using handheld scanners or barcode systems is a plus.
  • Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, hoists, and other material handling equipment.
