Job summary

Rural King is hiring a Receiving Associate in a fast-paced retail distribution environment. You will load and unload shipments, organize stock, and ensure accurate receipt documentation.

You will use scan guns and computer systems to manage records, assist in inventory control, and support cross-department operations. Prior receiving experience preferred; forklift and pallet jack skills help.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receiving experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remain flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Proven track record of producing accurate, error-free work and meeting quality standards.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments, prepare items, stock shelves and set up displays.
• Ensure products are in stock, easy to reach, and properly stored.
• Process purchase orders and use scan guns to document receipts.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and daily paperwork.
• Assist in transfers, shipping, and receiving with proper recordkeeping.
