Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to efficiently load and unload shipments, prepare merchandise for display, and ensure stock levels are accurate and well-distributed. You will follow SOPs for apparel receiving and use scan guns and software for receipt documentation.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, assisting with store-to-store transfers, and supporting inventory management while upholding Rural King’s values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Proven track record of consistently producing error-free work and meeting quality standards.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments and prepare merchandise for display.
• Ensure merchandise is in stock, well-distributed, and easily accessible.
• Follow SOPs for receiving and processing apparel within the store.
• Operate scan guns and computer-based software for receipt documentation.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and assist with transfers and inventory management.
