Jobot is seeking an Inventory Receiving Specialist in Itasca, IL for a permanent, on-site role. The position features a base salary plus bonus, comprehensive benefits, PTO, and opportunities for growth within a family-owned, Midwest-based contractor serving commercial interiors.

You will verify, log, and audit incoming inventory, work with purchasing to resolve discrepancies, and maintain a safe workspace while supporting continuous improvements in receiving processes.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

1. 1. Receiving, inspecting, and verifying all incoming inventory against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
2. 2. Logging all received inventory into the company’s database, ensuring data accuracy.
3. 3. Coordinating with the purchasing team to resolve any discrepancies or issues with received inventory.
4. 4. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company safety protocols.

Qualifications:

1. 1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory receiving within a manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment.
2. 2. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
3. 3. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
4. 4. Strong knowledge of inventory management software and database systems.
5. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.
6. 6. Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
7. 7. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items when required.
8. 8. A high school diploma or equivalent, with further education or certifications in inventory management or related fields being a plus.
