Raley's is seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to plan, coordinate, and monitor the handling of store equipment and groceries, ensuring safety, efficiency, and accurate inventory control.

Responsibilities include checking in vendor deliveries across grocery, meat, produce, bakery, deli and liquor, enforcing receiving hours, and safeguarding invoices against discrepancies. The role requires attention to policy and reliable teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Standing, sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing, keyboarding, walking, bending.
• Ability to safely work in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent service.
• Attention to detail in verifying vendor invoices and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Check in all grocery vendor deliveries and other items (meat, produce, bakery, deli, liquor).
• Enforce receiving hours according to policy; control vendor traffic through receiving doors.
• Verify invoices show legible pricing and are properly extended; flag discrepancies and obtain signatures.
• Handle damaged and spoiled products according to policy; maintain clean receiving and storage areas.
• Post invoices to the receiving log and secure signed documents; operate bailer, pallet jacks, and forklifts safely.
• Ensure compliance with health, weights/measure, liquor and tobacco laws; perform other related duties.
