Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to support accurate receiving, inventory control, freight processing, and merchandise movement throughout the store. This role receives shipments, processes purchase orders, verifies inventory, sorts freight, and replenishes merchandise on the sales floor.

Responsibilities include unloading and organizing freight, maintaining receiving records, and ensuring correct pricing and tagging.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of receiving, warehouse, inventory, freight, or related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and process purchase orders according to company SOPs.
• Use scan guns and computer systems to accurately document receipts and inventory.
• Identify and communicate discrepancies in purchase orders, DC, and vendor issues.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and research negative on-hand inventory.
• Verify pricing, labels, and security tags as required.
• Unload, sort, organize, and distribute freight throughout the store.
• Replenish merchandise and assist with salesfloor inventory during high-demand periods.
• Process store-to-store transfers, shipping, and UPS shipments accurately.
