Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to efficiently load and unload shipments, stock a wide range of merchandise, and maintain organized inventory. You will follow SOPs for apparel receiving, set up displays, and ensure accurate merchandising and stocking levels across the store.

This role supports store operations with strong attention to accuracy, teamwork, and safety. You will use scan guns, forklifts, and pallet jacks, and participate in cross-training to support multiple departments.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Proven track record of consistently producing error-free work and meeting quality standards.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments and prepare items for storage or movement to the sales floor.
• Ensure products are easy to reach, in stock, and properly displayed and stored.
• Follow SOPs for receiving and processing apparel, merchandising racks accurately.
• Record daily receiving paperwork and maintain thorough records.
• Assist in store-to-store transfers, shipping and receiving, and inventory management on the sales floor.
