Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to efficiently load and unload shipments, stock products, and set up displays in a busy store environment. You will follow SOPs, manage inventory, and help with merchandise tracking to keep shelves full and organized.

The role requires basic clerical skills, ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and comfort using scan guns and store software. A proactive, team-oriented attitude is essential for success.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of receiving experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Proven track record of consistently producing error-free work and meeting quality standards.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage activities.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments and prepare merchandise for storage or the sales area.
• Set up displays and stock to ensure items are easy to reach and in stock.
• Follow SOPs for apparel receiving and merchandising.
• Operate equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and use scan guns for receipt documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory during high-demand periods.
