Job summary

The Inventory Control Specialist at Tractor Supply is responsible for inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance routines that support store operations. The role executes receiving, inventory adjustments, reconciliation, transfer, and reporting while partnering with the Store Operations Manager.

This position emphasizes adherence to process standards, forklift operation, and safe, efficient handling of freight and merchandise to maintain accurate stock levels across the store.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience is preferred.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain attendance and work scheduled shifts.
• Fulfill requirements to deliver Legendary Customer Service using GURA.
• Perform forklift and propane inspections as required.
• Process pickups, BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation, and transfers.
• Receive POs and freight, stage freight for teams, and complete loading tasks.
• Stock and label freight per process standards; create fill to capacity picklists.
• Adjust inventory and review reports to correct discrepancies.
• Support inventory control, compliance, and receiving standards with the Store Operations Manager.
