Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance across store operations. The role handles receiving, adjustments, reconciliations, transfers, buybacks/RTVs, and reporting while partnering with the Store Operations Manager.

You will operate forklifts and perform safety checks, support BOPIS/OMNI processes, and review inventory reports to maintain accurate stock levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping/receiving preferred but not required.
• Retail or farming/ranching/pet knowledge is preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Reading, writing and counting ability is required.
• Basic computer and math skills are recommended.
• Strong interpersonal skills to resolve issues ethically.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance and flexible hours.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service and coach team members as needed.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections and related safety tasks.
• Process cross-dock shipments, receipts, and inventory reconciliations.
• Support BOPIS/OMNI processes and reconcile daily reports.
