Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Line Lead for our Inspection Center in Avondale, AZ. You’ll supervise and develop hourly associates, drive safety, quality, and production targets, and partner with the General Manager to manage inventory quality.

This is a hands-on leadership role with growth opportunities in a fast-paced, start-up like culture. Key requirements include a high school diploma or GED, comfortable with computers, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience using computers.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrated expertise in Carvana’s reconditioning processes.
• Understanding of lean principles.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license with clean driving record in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely while meeting production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the assigned team and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide coaching, development, and performance feedback to team members.
• Create a work environment that supports positive communication and adherence to Carvana’s values.
• Proactively communicate expectations and performance measures to the team.
