Job summary

Carvana, a leader in used-vehicle ecommerce, seeks a Line Lead for the Inspection Center in Arizona. You will supervise and develop hourly associates, drive production targets, and ensure safety and quality standards are upheld in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or auto inspection, strong communication, and a hands-on approach to coaching, problem-solving and continuous improvement in line with Carvana's values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience using computers is expected.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Lean principles and reconditioning process knowledge are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly inventory production goals.
• Oversee day-to-day team activities and coaching for performance.
• Provide development, feedback, and performance management for the team.
• Create a positive, collaborative work environment aligned with Carvana values.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Lead defect review and decision-making on repairs and vehicle quality.
• Train production staff using Quality Control standards for first-time quality.
• Delegate tasks effectively and maintain safety and efficiency in the shop.
