Job summary

Carvana in Tolleson, AZ seeks a Line Lead to supervise hourly associates in an Inspection Center, driving production and quality targets. The role emphasizes coaching, safety, and adherence to Carvana’s values to deliver high-quality reconditioned vehicles.

You’ll manage team performance, coordinate with leadership, and ensure efficient workflows while maintaining safety and operational standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience using computers.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Understanding of reconditioning processes and lean principles.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently; standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely while meeting production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the team; identify strengths, weaknesses and opportunities.
• Provide coaching, development and performance feedback to the team.
• Communicate expectations and performance measures clearly; ensure adherence to standards.
• Lead safety and quality via training on Quality Control standards and defect identification.
• Delegate tasks effectively and manage multiple associates in a fast-paced environment.
