Job summary

Floor & Decor in New York is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to ensure the store’s inventory remains accurate and reliable. You will support receiving, tagging, and daily cycle counts while maintaining high attention to detail and strong customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

We offer both full-time and part-time positions. You will follow SOPs, audit processes regularly, and collaborate with management to resolve discrepancies and uphold safety standards in a dynamic store

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a big box retailer or equivalent.
• POS analysis and reporting experience.
• Business analysis experience is a plus.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety lifting procedures and SOPs.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and category reviews.
• Research discrepancies and adjust in the inventory system.
• Review shipping/receiving documents for accuracy.
• Notify managers of SKUing/discrepancies.
• Audit various inventory processes monthly.
• Audit SRR and RTV processes per SOP.
• Ensure facility security and report issues.
• Review customer storage area weekly and resolve issues.
• Assist Operations Manager during physical inventory.
• Generate and archive monthly OSDR reports.
• Check at least 10 receipts daily for discrepancies.
• Communicate discrepancies to management with proposed fixes.
• Maintain cycle count paperwork per SOP.
