Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support HUB operations under the General Manager, handling order preparation and stock management.

You will work with store management to perform counts, merchandising, scheduling flexibility, and ensure compliance with policies. The role requires physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and operate forklifts.

Excellent teamwork and reliable attendance are essential to keep HUB processes efficient and accurate across shifts.

Qualifications

• Oral and written communications and basic math skills required.
• Prior retail experience with merchandising and inventory management preferred.
• Able to operate a forklift and use hand truck and pallet jack.
• Well-mannered, neat and able to interact with customers.
• Stable work history with proven performance.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends; available on short notice.
• Report policy violations to General Manager or District Manager.

Responsibilities

• Pull and ship HUB orders on time.
• If HUB order can't be filled, call servicing store before next HUB run explaining how to reorder.
• Perform cycle counts for parts department including OUTS.
• Assist with plan-o-grams and stocking.
• Collaborate with management to coordinate product delivery and daily transactions.
• Ensure security, customer service and record-keeping policies are followed.
