Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage HUB operations and support the parts department. You will coordinate inventory, process orders, and assist in cycle counts and plan-o-grams while collaborating with store management.

This role requires strong communication, basic math, and prior retail experience. Forklift operation may be required; you will work in a fast-paced store environment with regular training and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be competent at oral and written communications and handle basic math computations.
• Should have prior retail experience, including basic merchandising and inventory management skills.
• Able to drive forklift, if certified and applicable, and use a hand truck and pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Pull and ship HUB orders on time.
• Call servicing store before next HUB run explaining reorders if a HUB order can’t be filled.
• Complete all parts department cycle counts including OUTS.
• Stock all parts and support plan-o-grams with store management.
• Perform MAXI changes and callbacks in parts department.
• Maintain records, security and customer service standards.
