Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage HUB operations, pull and ship orders, and work with store management on inventory control. You will perform cycle counts, stock parts, and support plan-o-grams and MAXI changes while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

You may train team members and assist with deliveries, maintaining accurate records and reporting to the General Manager. Flexibility for nights/weekends is required in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be competent in oral and written communications and basic math computations.
• Prior retail experience with basic merchandising and inventory management is preferred.
• Able to operate a forklift if certified, and to use a hand truck and pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Pull and ship HUB orders on time.
• If a HUB order can’t be filled, call servicing store before the next HUB run and explain how to reorder.
• Perform cycle counts for the parts department and assist with plan-o-grams.
• Stock parts in the department and help with callbacks and MAXI changes.
• Coordinate with General Manager for delivery of product and maintaining inventories.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and record-keeping policies; train team members as directed.
