Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Inventory Control Lead to coach Inventory Clerks, lead cycle counts, and ensure inventory accuracy across inbound and outbound processes. The role supports standard work and Lean initiatives while promoting safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities include analyzing inventory reports, leading root-cause analyses of discrepancies, and mentoring staff in warehouse operations. Forklift readiness and cross-functional collaboration are essential in this dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of prior inventory and/or warehouse/distribution operations experience
• 6 months related leadership or supervisory experience and/or training in a distribution environment
• High School Diploma or GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a forklift operator license

Responsibilities

• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• Support supervision in directing inventory staff and adherence to procedures
• Perform root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies using Lean/Six Sigma tools
• Consolidate and report on quality/hold product and assist with stow consolidations as needed
• Safely operate powered equipment and support ISO/FDA/customer inspection readiness
