Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor in Michigan to oversee inbound/outbound inventory, audits, cycle counts, and staff coordination to meet daily productivity goals. The role includes safety and quality assurance responsibilities and direct supervision of the site Inventory Department.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in inventory planning or supervision, with experience in high-volume receiving and LEAN practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of inventory planning and supervision experience.
• Experience supervising hourly warehouse/operations employees.
• Experience with high-volume receiving and distribution in large warehouse networks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accuracy of all inbound and outbound inventory via audits and cycle counts.
• Direct inventory staff to meet customer expectations.
• Maintain timekeeping hours and daily reports.
• Lead root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure safety training and CPs/K-WINs compliance.
• Coordinate zoning and staging of physical inventory.
