Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee inventory accuracy and staffing at our site, coordinating audits, cycle counts, and safety training to meet customer timelines.

The role directs the inventory staff, ensures CPs and K‑WINs compliance, and drives root-cause analysis for discrepancies. A strong background in inventory planning and leadership is essential to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four‑year college or university and/or a minimum of 5 years prior experience Inventory planning; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous supervision, team lead or management experience of hourly warehouse/operations employees.
• High volume receiving and distribution production for a large broad line warehouse network.
• Business Acumen - Knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology, and information affecting his/her business and organization.
• Communicate for Impact - Devoting the time and resources necessary to communicate the strategic vision, direction, priorities, and progress of the team for which you are responsible.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the accuracy of all inventory of both inbound and outbound product via Audits and cycle counts.
• Directs inventory staff in completion of work to meet customer expectations.
• Lead efforts for root cause analysis within the operation with regards to inventory discrepancies, including research and resolution.
• Ensures that all associates are trained and following all CPs, K-WINs, and Standard Work as outlined in the Kenco Quality Management System.
