Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to lead the site’s Inventory Department, ensuring accurate counts, audits, and timely processing. You will direct staff, enforce CPs and standard work, and coordinate with operations to meet customer expectations.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of inventory planning or related supervision experience in a high-volume warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university and/or a minimum of 5 years prior experience Inventory planning; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous supervision, team lead or management experience of hourly warehouse/operations employees.
• High volume receiving and distribution production for a large broad line warehouse network.

Responsibilities

• Oversees accuracy of all inventory of both inbound and outbound product via audits and cycle counts.
• Reports unsafe conditions to the Operations Manager or General Manager and ensures safety training for associates.
• Open/secure building as required and conduct building security audits as needed.
• Directs inventory staff to meet customer expectations and coordinates timekeeping and shift coverage.
• Leads root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and ensures adherence to Kenco Quality Management System and related procedures.
