Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Portage, MI is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and staff in the site’s Inventory Department. You will direct associates, ensure safety, and coordinate with our customer requirements, while upholding our quality management standards.

This role emphasizes root-cause analysis for discrepancies, training, and timely reporting. Travel is minimal, and you will partner with operations to meet daily productivity goals and maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university and/or a minimum of 5 years prior experience Inventory planning; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous supervision, team lead or management experience of hourly warehouse/operations employees.
• Experience with high-volume receiving and distribution in a large warehouse network.

Responsibilities

• Oversees accuracy of inbound/outbound inventory via audits and cycle counts.
• Directs inventory staff to meet customer expectations and maintain schedules.
• Maintains hours in timekeeping system and communicates issues to management.
• Lead root-cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and resolutions.
• Ensures compliance with CPs, K-WINs, and Quality Management System standards.
• coordinate zoning, staging, and physical inventories as required.
