Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations and ensure merchandise is accurately received, accounted for, and stocked.

You will walk the store daily, scan DSD items, and address out-of-stock or overstock conditions while collaborating with order writers, night crew, merchandisers and the File Maintenance Clerk. You will communicate with the Store Director to support inventory accuracy, promotional execution, monitor

Qualifications

• Experience receiving, tracking and reconciling inventory in a retail environment.
• Basic computer skills including email and Excel; familiarity with store portals or inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations and ensure merchandise is received, accounted for and stocked.
• Walk the store daily to scan DSD items and identify out-of-stock or overstock situations.
• Partner with order writers, night crew, merchandisers and File Maintenance Clerk to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Communicate regularly with Store Director to support promotional execution.
• Monitor donations and manage grocery and non-perishable inventories.
• Maintain a secure, clean and organized backroom environment.
