RJW Logistics in Plainfield, IL is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee stockroom activities, supervise staff, and coordinate inventory control processes. The role requires hands-on leadership, accuracy, and forklift/WMS experience.

You will manage cycle counts, ensure stock accuracy, and prepare reports while coordinating inbound activities. The position runs Sunday to Wednesday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with compensation in the $65–70k range.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Inventory Control.
• 1–2 years in warehouse environment.
• Experience operating forklift and cherry picker/high lift.
• Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain layout of stockroom, warehouse, and storage areas.
• Study records and recommend remedial actions for non-usable, slow moving, or excess stock.
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with procedures; determine stock levels.
• Schedule work for special and periodic inventories.
• Prepare composite reports from Inventory Specialists.
• Trace history of items to resolve discrepancies.
• Issue instructions and expedite workflow with team members.
• Assign duties and ensure conformance to policies.
