Job summary

RJW Logistics Group in Romeoville, IL is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to supervise stockroom activities and coordinate inventorying of materials, supplies, tools, and parts.

This 2nd shift position runs Mon-Fri 3:30 PM–12:30 AM with compensation of $65-70k annually. The role requires forklift and cherry picker experience, WMS (Synapse preferred), KPI reporting, and strong accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years related experience in Inventory Control.
• Minimum 1–2 years related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift.
• Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
• Working knowledge of Inventory Control practices; KPI reporting and cycle counts.
• PC literate with Outlook, Word, Excel and Access database.

Responsibilities

• Maintains layout of stockroom and storage areas, considering turnover and weight.
• Studies records; recommends remedial actions for non-usable or excess stock.
• Reviews records for accuracy and compliance; assesses stock levels.
• Schedules work for inventories and prepares composite reports.
• Traces history of items to resolve discrepancies in stock control records.
• Issues instructions and expedites workflow with team members.
• Oversees inbound associates and assigns duties.
• Other tasks as assigned by manager.
