Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory accuracy, receiving processes, and compliance within the store operations framework. The role supports transfers, buybacks/RTV, and reporting, while partnering with the Store Operations Manager to drive efficiency.

Key duties include processing POs and freight, performing inspections, and completing reconciliation reports.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Regardless of education level, you must be able to read, write, and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Deliver on our promise of Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet the Customer, Uncover Customer’s Needs & Wants, Recommend Product Solutions, Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce Leading with Legendary behaviors through Customer engagement, Team Member coaching, and accountability for execution.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections and key propane use as required.
• Pull OMNI orders in the morning and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation routines.
• Complete BOPIS Reconciliation Report and BODFS Reconciliation Report according to company standards.
• Receive Direct POs, Mixing Center freight, Bulk Center freight, and DC receiving transfers, including new and open transfers.
• Receive and key truck, execute truck unload plan, stage totes for Freight Team Leader, and complete Loader Feedback Survey.
