Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support store operations through inventory control, accurate receiving, and compliance routines. You will handle receiving, adjustments, reconciliations, transfers, buybacks/RTV, and reporting while collaborating with the Store Operations Manager.

This role emphasizes reliability, safety, and customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Regardless of education level, you must be able to read, write, and count accurately.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Deliver on our promise of Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet the Customer, Uncover Customer’s Needs & Wants, Recommend Product Solutions, Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce Leading with Legendary behaviors through Customer engagement, Team Member coaching, and accountability for execution.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections and key propane use as required.
• Pull OMNI orders in the morning and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation routines.
