Job summary

Rural King is seeking an Inventory Control professional to maintain accurate inventory values across our stores and distribution network. You will identify and communicate issues, coordinate with leadership, and drive improvements in processes and procedures.

You will support a fast-paced retail environment, leverage Microsoft Office and inventory systems, and ensure safe, efficient operations aligned with Rural King's values and goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of warehouse/manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Previous experience with powered industrial equipment.
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn latitude systems.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Responsible for the accuracy of bins in the working area through bin audits and appropriate cycle count cadence.
• Ensures timely and accurate flow of freight through standard reporting.
• Audits purchase orders before posting to the host (Oracle)
• Responsible for using desktop terminals, RF scan guns, and all Microsoft functions to identify, resolve and communicate all system/inventory issues.
• Responsible for compliance in process and procedure for all operational practices relating to all inventory management.
• Ensure quality and production KPI goals are met daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
