Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to support accurate receiving, inventory control, freight processing, and merchandise movement throughout the store. This role receives shipments, processes purchase orders, verifies inventory, sorts freight, and replenishes merchandise on the sales floor.

You will handle receiving records, use scan guns and store systems, and help keep shelves stocked with accurate pricing and tags. Teamwork and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of receiving, warehouse, or related experience.
• Experience with purchase orders, inventory control, or shipping/receiving.
• Comfortable using computers, scan guns, and inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and process purchase orders per SOPs.
• Use scan guns and systems to document receipts and inventory.
• Identify discrepancies and communicate PO, DC, and vendor issues.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and research negative on-hand inventory.
• Verify pricing, labels, and security tags as required.
• Unload, sort, replenish merchandise and assist with inventory on high-demand periods.
