Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Independence, MO, is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to manage daily inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies. You will support production by ensuring material flow and data accuracy in our light industrial environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in inventory control or warehouse operations.
• Familiar with inventory management systems (SAP preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and numeracy.
• Able to work independently and solve problems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement.
• High school diploma or equivalent (certifications preferred).

Responsibilities

• Enter data for quantities issued and transferred between locations.
• Close shop packets and purge computer database.
• Receive and issue finished goods into database.
• Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with production staff.
• Record shelf-life items daily and notify when expired.
• Prepare monthly cycle count and pick-list reports.
• Participate in yearly physical inventory.
