Job summary

Specialty Building Products in Massachusetts is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and assist with physical inventories. This role partners with Warehouse, Shipping and Inventory leadership to maintain accurate records.

The ideal candidate has experience with WMS, strong Excel skills, and prior inventory control or distribution experience. Starting pay is $24 per hour with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Previous inventory control, warehouse, or distribution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled cycle counts and research root causes of inventory discrepancies.
• Investigate inventory variances and assist with resolutions.
• Assist with annual physical inventory preparations and completion.
• Support investigations of inventory inaccuracies identified through cycle counts and other controls.
• Identify and recommend improvements to inventory accuracy and management processes.
• Research BOM issues that may cause discrepancies.
• Conduct daily dock audits and coordinate follow-up with relevant departments.
