Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to manage stock levels and ensure availability for production in a light industrial setting. You will perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate data in our database.

Applicants should have 1–3 years in inventory control, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail. The role includes daily data entry, reporting, and collaboration with multiple branches to optimize material flow.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, materials handling, or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Strong computer skills with intermediate Excel functions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately.
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in inventory control or supply chain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels of stock parts, forecast usage, and place orders to maintain sufficient inventory to meet customer demands.
• Communicate with other branches to request inventory transfers and manage incoming requests.
• Coordinate daily cycle counts and troubleshoot quantity discrepancies.
• Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database.
• Receive and issue finished goods into computer database.
• Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and aged inventory.
• Prepare and lead the semiannual physical inventory.
• Complete other purchasing and administrative tasks as assigned.
