Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to manage inventory levels through the database, perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and support production material flow in a light industrial manufacturing setting.

You will monitor stock levels, coordinate transfers, run monthly reports, and participate in semiannual physical inventories while upholding company policies and accuracy in data handling.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, materials handling, or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Strong computer skills, including intermediate level functions within Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately.
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in inventory control or supply chain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels of stock parts, forecast their usage, and place orders to maintain sufficient inventory to meet customer demands
• Communicate with other branches to request inventory transfers and manage incoming requests.
• Coordinate daily cycle counts and troubleshoot quantity discrepancies
• Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database.
• Receive and issue finished goods into computer database.
• Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and aged inventory.
• Prepare and lead the semiannual physical inventory.
• Complete other purchasing and administrative tasks as assigned.
