Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is looking for an Inventory Control Coordinator in Independence, MO to manage inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies. You will maintain accurate data in the ERP, support transfers between locations, and help ensure material flow to production.

The role requires 1–3 years in inventory control, familiarity with inventory systems, solid Excel skills, and strong attention to detail. Full-time with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of inventory control or warehouse experience.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with numbers accurately.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in inventory control or supply chain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels of stock parts, forecast usage, and place orders to meet demand.
• Coordinate with branches to request transfers and manage incoming requests.
• Perform daily cycle counts and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Enter quantities issued and transferred data into the database.
• Record finished goods receipts and issues in the system.
• Prepare monthly cycle count and aged inventory reports.
• Lead the semiannual physical inventory and support related tasks.
• Handle other purchasing and administrative duties as assigned.
