Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control role responsible for ensuring accuracy and integrity of the store’s inventory. The position supports cycle counts, auditing processes, and discrepancy resolution in a fast-paced retail environment.

Candidates should have at least one year of inventory control experience, strong skills in POS analysis, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. The role may be full-time or part-time with opportunities to contribute to store operations and

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a big box retail company or equivalent.
• Experience with point-of-sale analysis and reporting.
• Business analysis experience is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow the daily cycle count and category review calendar.
• Research inventory discrepancies and make adjustments in the inventory system.
• Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.
• Notify management of discrepancies in tagging or SKUing merchandise.
• Audit the daily balance for various processes per SOP.
• Audit incoming/outgoing trucks and Return of Sale/Voids processes.
• Audit RTVs to ensure proper processing per SOP.
• Ensure security of the facility by notifying management of issues.
• Maintain cycle count paperwork per SOP and communicate discrepancies.
• Assist Operations Manager during physical inventory periods.
