Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist in North Carolina to support store operations through strict inventory control, accurate receiving, and compliance routines. The role involves receiving, adjustments, transfers, and reporting, with strong collaboration with the Store Operations Manager.

The position requires reliable attendance, the ability to work varied shifts, and basic computer and math skills.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet the Customer, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, and Add Value.
• Operate forklift, baler, cash register, and other equipment as needed for store operations.
• Receive Direct POs, freight, and transfers; unload trucks and stage goods for processing.
• Stock and tag freight and backroom inventory according to standards.
• Complete BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation reports and daily inventory adjustments.
• Partner with Store Operations Manager on inventory control and compliance.
