Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist dedicated to inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance routines that support store operations. You will handle receiving, adjustments, reconciliations, transfers, buybacks/RTV, and reporting while collaborating with the Store Operations Manager.

This role supports the life out here by maintaining stock integrity, processing Direct POs and freight transfers, and ensuring forklift safety and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and math proficiency are required.
• Strong interpersonal skills to resolve issues ethically with minimal conflict.
• Must be able to read, write, and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service and engage customers per protocol.
• Perform forklift and propane inspections as required.
• Support OMNI orders, BOPIS, and reconciliation routines.
• Receive Direct POs and freight, manage transfers and loading plans.
• Stock and tag freight and inventory items per process standards.
• Prepare picklists for the Freight Team and adjust inventory discrepancies.
• Review on-hand reports and perform required follow-up and reconciliations.
• Partner with Store Operations Manager on inventory control and compliance.
• Operate forklift, baler, and store equipment; assist customers as needed.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
