Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the store's inventory. This role supports both full-time and part-time schedules and requires strong attention to detail and customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records in the inventory system while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• One year of inventory control experience in a big-box retail environment.
• POS analysis and reporting experience.
• Business analysis experience is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding and compliance with safe lifting SOPs.
• Follow the daily cycle count and category review calendar.
• Research inventory discrepancies and adjust in the inventory system.
• Review shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.
• Notify managers of tagging or SKU discrepancies.
• Audit the BFR daily per SOP.
• Audit incoming/outgoing trucks monthly for movement accuracy.
• Audit the SRR process per SOP for returns and voids.
