Job summary

Bourns, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Supervisor, Inventory Control & Material Control Planning to oversee inventory control, material planning, and purchasing activities for manufacturing operations.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead a team, drive continuous improvement, ensure material availability, and collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Finance to optimize costs and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in inventory control, materials planning, production planning, or supply chain operations.
• 1–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily inventory control operations to maintain accurate records.
• Lead material planning activities to support production schedules and procurement.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance demand, capacity, and inventory objectives.
