Job summary

DHL Supply Chain seeks an integrated Inventory Control Manager I to lead the inventory control team, align with the client service agreement, and drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy, reporting and asset management.

Responsibilities include developing customer relationships, directing supply chain strategies, and ensuring KPI adherence while managing both hourly and exempt staff in a dynamic environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 4 years Inventory Control experience.
• 3+ years logistics industry experience.
• 3+ years management experience in a unit pick environment or large company.
• 1+ year client relationship, staff management & objective setting experience.
• Staff management and objective setting required.
• Metric development and reporting across cross-functional leadership.
• Knowledge of systems such as JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP, etc.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to the audience.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership, direction and strategy for Inventory Control.
• Develop and progress key customer relationships and operational partnerships.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in inventory control.
• Set strategic direction for supply chain initiatives related to Inventory Control.
• Develop proactive strategies to anticipate and mitigate issues.
• Ensure adherence to Inventory Control KPIs outlined in the contract.
