Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Inventory Control Manager I in the United States to lead the Inventory Control team, drive improvements, and ensure service levels align with client contracts. This role emphasizes strategic direction, KPI adherence, and strong customer partnerships within a large logistics environment.

The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3+ years in inventory control, plus substantial logistics and management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4 years inventory control experience.
• 3+ years logistics industry experience.
• 3+ years management experience in a large company.
• 1+ years client relationship, staff mgmt & objective setting experience.
• Staff management & Objective Setting required.
• Metric development and reporting across cross functional leadership.
• Knowledge of JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP, etc., required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to the audience.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership, direction and strategy for the Inventory Control team.
• Develop and progress customer relationships and operational partnerships.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in inventory control.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and reporting per service agreements.
• Lead KPI adherence and strategic direction for supply chain initiatives.
• Oversee associate performance, development plans and succession planning.
• Maintain safe, secure, and compliant work environment.
