Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Senior Inventory Control leader to provide strategic direction for the Inventory Control team and manage key client relationships. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement, improving inventory accuracy and reporting, and aligning with service level agreements.

You will set the strategic direction for supply chain initiatives related to Inventory Control and Inventory Planning, and lead cross-functional collaboration to mitigate risks and optimize asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 4 years Inventory Control experience, Required
• 3+ years logistics industry experience, Required
• 3+ years management experience (unit pick environment, large company preferred, Required)
• 1+ years client relationship, staff mgmt. & objective setting experience, Required
• Staff management & Objective Setting, Required
• Knowledge of systems such as JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP, etc., Required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to the audience, Required

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership, direction and strategy for the Inventory Control team.
• Develop and progress customer relationships and operational partnerships.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in inventory control management.
• Ensure inventory control KPI are met per the commercial agreement.
• Manage site hourly and exempt associates; conduct performance reviews and development plans.
