Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Inventory Control Manager II to lead the inventory control team and drive improvement under the client service agreement.

The role emphasizes building customer relationships, refining inventory accuracy, and delivering KPI-driven results across the site. This on-site position requires strong leadership, analytics, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize stock and mitigate risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 4 years Inventory Control experience required.
• 3+ years logistics industry experience required.
• 3+ years management experience in a large company preferred.
• 1+ years client relationship, staff mgmt. & objective setting experience required.
• Staff management & objective setting required.
• Metric development and reporting across cross functional leadership required.
• Knowledge of systems such as JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP, etc. required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to the audience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership, direction and strategy for the Inventory Control team to enable delivery under the client service agreement.
• Develop and progress key customer relationships and operational partnerships for continuous improvement and excellence in inventory control.
• Set strategic direction for supply chain initiatives revolving around Inventory Control and Inventory Planning.
• Develop proactive strategies to anticipate and mitigate inventory control issues and risks.
• Analyze data methods to apply inventory control improvements.
