Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Inventory Control Manager II to lead the Inventory Control team and drive strategic initiatives. You will manage customer relationships, partner with operations, and progress continuous improvement efforts to meet service levels and KPI targets.

The role emphasizes leadership, data-driven decision making, and collaboration across functions to optimize inventory control and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 4 years Inventory Control experience.
• 3 years logistics industry experience.
• 3 years management experience in a unit pick environment or similar.
• 1 year client relationship, staff mgmt. & objective setting experience.
• Staff management & objective setting experience.
• Metric development and cross-functional reporting experience.
• Knowledge of systems such as JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP, etc.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office apps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership, direction and strategy for the Inventory Control team.
• Develop and progress key customer relationships and operational partnerships.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in inventory control.
• Ensure adherence to Inventory Control KPIs per the commercial agreement.
